The Province of Alberta is renowned as a top Waterfowl destination, and the areas we guide in offers superb shooting for Ducks and Geese. Hunting Ducks involves setting up over a pond or a slough usually in the evening after chasing Upland Birds, our take place in the early A.M. and take place in Wheat or Pea Fields that have been spotted and lined up the evening before your hunt. There are very liberal limits on both Ducks and Geese and we are more than happy to provide you a good memorable shoot.

The Best Time to come

Alberta Seasons (approximate Dates)
Hungarian (Gray) Partridge: September 15 to November 30.
Sharptail Grouse: October 1 to October 30.
Ringneck Pheasant: October 15 to November 15.

Saskatchewan Seasons (approximate Dates)
Hungarian Partridge: September 15th to November 14th
Sharptail Grouse: September 15 to November 14th
Waterfowl: September 1st to December 16th

For the most stable weather conditions, mid September and the month of October are the best times to visit, especially if you are combining a hunt with a few days on the Bow River. The temperature at this time can range from 32° to 65° Fahrenheit
